Where Creativity becomes Culture.
Where Culture becomes Community.
DrishyAM
International Centre for Creativity, Culture & Community
An initiative of the ArtMantram Foundation
Some things cannot be preserved. They must be passed on.
A gesture.
A rhythm.
A story.
The particular pressure of a thumb against clay.
A song that exists only in the memory of the person who knows how to sing it.
Knowledge travels this way. From one person to another. Through practice, repetition and attention. Through years spent watching, listening, trying, failing and trying again.
From master to student. From Guru to Shishya. From one generation to the next.
DrishyAM is being built for these encounters — a place where artists, artisans, teachers, students and communities can meet; where traditions continue to grow, and new work can begin.
Tara Mandala
Five Constellations
Each has its own centre of gravity, its own ways of making, learning and gathering. They are not sealed departments — a dancer may work with a filmmaker, a writer may sit with an artisan, a child may arrive for one class and discover another world entirely.

Nṛtta
The body in motion
The body becomes an instrument of knowledge — a gesture carries history, a rhythm contains memory.

Kalā Kuśala
The intelligence of the hand
Some things can only be learnt by doing: how much pressure to apply, when to wait, when a material is ready.

Chitra Vihāra
Images in motion, ideas in form
Some stories need movement. Some need an image. Some begin as a fragment, a frame or a question.

Sāhitya
The life of language
Before a story is written, it is often spoken. Remembered. Retold. Changed a little each time it passes on.

Svasti · Prakṛti · Vijñāna
The art of living well
Wellbeing, nature and scientific inquiry — the relationship between the individual, the community and the living world.

The heart of it
Guru and Shishya, in the same room
India has always transmitted its arts through relationship: years spent beside a teacher, learning by watching, correcting, repeating. DrishyAM takes that tradition seriously and builds for it.
Recognised masters from India and around the world will hold residencies, mentorships and long apprenticeships here — so that a potter’s grandchild, a village schoolgirl and a young film-maker from the city can all find a teacher, and a livelihood.

Canvas to Cosmos
A weekend of art, fellowship & philanthropy
A diptych in two panels — the Friendship Cup at Zion Hills Golf Course, and the Canvas to Cosmos gala at The Ritz-Carlton, Bengaluru. Two experiences, one vision: building the future home of art.

The Art Village
Where dialogues become discoveries
A visionary creative campus near Bengaluru, dedicated to artistic excellence, cultural heritage and the generations still to come. Studios, residencies, workshops, exhibition spaces, an amphitheatre, and quiet places to think.
More than an art village, DrishyAM is intended as a living ecosystem — where creativity, innovation and community come together across the five Constellations.
